Driving School

For driving schools where course dates, license categories and prices are the three things every learner checks before signing up.

The trigger

Why it usually gets rebuilt

The answering machine does not say when the next theory course for category B starts. The price list online predates the last increase, and the categories are listed as abbreviations nobody outside the trade reads. Yet those are exactly the things learners compare before they enroll anywhere.

Typical pages

Features

What actually makes the difference

Not every website needs everything. These are the points that genuinely count in this trade.

Theory timetable with places left

Start date, rhythm, end date and the places still open on each course. Someone who can see the course starts on the 12th with four places left enrols; someone who has to call puts it off.

Categories explained, not abbreviated

B, BE, B197, A1, A2, A, AM, moped: what each one lets you drive, from what age, with what prior license. The overview answers the most frequent phone question in full.

Prices itemized, not bundled

Registration fee, driving lesson, mandatory special drives, test presentation fee, learning materials. A single total price would have to assume how many lessons someone needs, which nobody can know — an honest breakdown convinces more than an invented figure.

Enrollment with a document checklist

Eyesight test, first-aid certificate, passport photo, ID. The form asks what is already in hand, so the first visit to the office starts with what is actually missing.

Requesting driving lessons

Learners see their instructor's open slots and request one, instead of trying to catch a phone call between school and an afternoon job.

Automation

What can run by itself

  1. Enrollment confirmation with the checklist

Course start, times, location and the documents to bring to the first session.

  2. Chasing missing documents

While the eyesight test or the first-aid certificate is outstanding, the system follows up at intervals. Applications stuck on one missing certificate delay the test by weeks.

  3. Reminder before theory class

A short message the day before. A double period with half the room missing still has to be taught.

  4. Waiting list for full courses

When a course is full, the inquirer joins the list for the next one and is notified automatically when it opens. Otherwise they enroll somewhere else in the meantime.

  5. Alert when mandatory drives are complete

Once the overland, motorway and night drives are done, both office and learner are notified. The test application does not sit idle because nobody was tracking it.

Integrations

Types of system typically connected — which product exactly is something we work out in the call.

  • Driving school administration software
  • Instructor scheduling
  • Theory learning app
  • Payment and instalment processing
  • Accounting

Budget

$3,740 – $7,700

Categories, prices and course dates as well-kept pages sit at the lower edge; once enrollment, lesson scheduling and training progress are fed from the administration software, the effort moves up.
