How Awelior would approach this project
Thornbury Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is invented — the way it is built is not. None of this is work delivered for a client. It is the shape we would give such a project — with the same depth, but without a client who would have to answer for it.
Where it starts
Thornbury Refrigeration & Air Conditioning holds service contracts with committed response times. The fault line takes notes on a pad, the deployment plan hangs on a whiteboard in the office, and which deadline applies to which customer lives in a spreadsheet in the service manager's head. On a fault call at 4:40 PM that combination decides whether a penalty falls due.
Decisions
The deadline lives on the ticket, not in the contract
When a fault is logged, the response time is pulled from the service contract and stays visible on the ticket. A deadline you have to look up does not get looked up under pressure.
A control room, not an overview page
The entry screen is sorted by urgency, not by arrival. That is the decision against the obvious list: whoever walks in first thing does not need the newest item, but the one running out first.
The spare part belongs with dispatch
An engineer without the right part drives out twice. So parts requirement and availability hang off the deployment plan rather than a separate stock list — the decision happens while assigning, not afterwards.
Deliberately left outNo route planning and no vehicle tracking. Both are tempting and drag in monitoring and data protection questions that have to be settled before the first line of code — not in a demo, but with the drivers, and where a union contract applies, with the union.
What is in it
- Screens
- 5
- Content blocks
- 18
- Languages
- 4
Five screens, in all four languages, with sidebar, header and stated role. Navigation works; board, tables, calendar, history and forms are rendered and inert. Ticket numbers, customers and deadlines are invented.
How it would go on
How faults arrive
Phone, email, customer portal — every report has to end up with the same number regardless of the route it came in on.
Engineer app
Job acceptance, checklist, photographs and times on site. Without it the control room stays a view somebody keeps current by hand.
Contract and billing
What the contract covers, what gets charged, and how the work travels from the ticket into the invoice.
An application like this for your business?
Service Desk is invented — the way it is cut is not. Applications like this come out of the processes a business already runs.
Sample application by Awelior. Invented business, invented data, nothing stored.
