Hotel & Guesthouse

For houses trying to win back direct bookings, because every portal booking costs a double-digit share of the rate.

The trigger

Why it usually gets rebuilt

The portals fill rooms and keep a double-digit percentage of the rate. The hotel's own site cannot compete: no prices, no availability, and anyone determined to book direct finds only a contact form. So they click back to the portal that already has their details.

Features

What actually makes the difference

Not every website needs everything. These are the points that genuinely count in this trade.

Availability and rate on your own site

Calendar, rate, room categories still free — visible without anyone having to call. Only once a guest can see that does booking direct become a real option.

The direct-booking advantage where it counts

Whatever the guest gets for booking with you — late check-out, parking, a drink on arrival — sits right at the point of booking. It is the one place a house can genuinely answer the portals' reach.

Packages with minimum stays

Walking breaks, New Year's Eve, two-night city stays: bundles with their own rules for arrival day and length of stay, so midweek and shoulder nights do not collapse.

Meeting inquiries with real room data

Square meters, seating layouts, equipment, day-delegate rate. Corporate bookers compare exactly these figures and simply do not inquire when they are missing.

Vouchers that arrive straight away

The buyer picks an amount or a stay, pays, and receives the voucher as a file. That carries weight in December, when reception has no spare minute anyway.

Automation

What can run by itself

  1. Confirmation with everything needed for arrival

Rate, room category, cancellation deadline, directions. One document the guest can find again later.

  2. A note shortly before arrival

Three days out: check-in times, parking, breakfast hours, the option to reserve a table. Reception feels the difference on arrival day.

  3. Canceled rooms report themselves back

When a guest cancels, the category returns to the channel manager automatically. No room stays empty just because the release notice sat in someone's inbox.

  4. Review request after departure

Two days after check-out, with a direct route to the platform you care about. Reviews happen when you ask for them; otherwise they mostly happen after trouble.

Integrations

Types of system typically connected — which product exactly is something we work out in the call.

  • Property management system
  • Channel manager
  • Booking engine
  • Payment provider
  • Review platforms
  • Newsletter delivery

Budget

$7,150 – $15,400

The jump to the upper end almost always comes from integration: as soon as availability and rates have to come out of the property management system, the effort follows its interface, not the page count.
