How this list is ordered, and what a posting has to contain before we let it through.
Order, applications, reviews
The list runs by closing date, and where two close on the same day, by distance from your own address. Booking the extended profile does not move you up: we sell no placement, to contractors or clients, and we label nothing „recommended" that is in truth paid for.
In the other direction, the client does not receive applications in the order they arrived but by distance and response time — both of which are shown on every application, so that the order can be followed.
Only contractors who produced a state business registration on joining, plus the contractor license where the state requires one, can apply. Every contractor on this board is a business. The party posting the job, by contrast, may be a private person or a company — and that is stated on the posting, because for you it changes things.
Reviews can only be left by clients whose award went ahead and who confirmed completion. We check that link, not the wording. Where there are fewer than five reviews, the count stands next to the average.
Every open posting
Ordered by closing date, then distance. „Private person" or „company" tells you who is posting — with a private client you are dealing with a consumer, so the cancellation terms and the warranty on your work belong in the contract, in writing, before anyone signs.
Contractor license required. Four applications per posting is the ceiling — after that it closes.

What a posting has to contain
Without these we do not publish it. Not out of principle — without them every contractor writes into the dark and then telephones.
Place and timeframe
The place down to the street, revealed only after the award. A timeframe in months rather than dates — most contractors' lead times sit somewhere in between.
Client: private or company
A required field that cannot be skipped. It decides what the contract has to spell out — for a private client, that means the cancellation terms and the warranty on the work.
Budget, optional
Give a range and you get fewer, better-suited applications. Give none and you get more of them, and more that do not fit. Both are allowed.

Contact details, hidden
Name, phone number and exact address are visible only to the contractor who wins the award. Until then everything runs through messages on the board.
